I’m sure you’re thinking, so who is this Jessica Van Horn person anyway? Well, I’m glad that you asked! I am a graphic designer and photographer based out of Kansas City, Missouri (Yes, we’re known for The Wizard of Oz, but we don’t talk about it). I am a senior at Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Graphic Design and am enthusiastically open to internship opportunities (ok I’ll brag, I will graduate with a 4.0 GPA). Through my schooling, I’ve become experienced with the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, and have also learned a great deal about HTML, CSS, and Content Management Systems like WordPress.

I’m creative, thoughtful, project-oriented, detailed, and a quick study. I work extremely well on teams and love to experiment and explore the intersection of art and technology. Other skills include extensive experience using social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google+, Bullhorn Reach, Instagram, HootSuite, and Tumblr.  In my free time, you’ll still find me sitting in front of a computer nerding out in video games, being a dog mom to my Australian Shepherd Evie, and traveling as much as possible.
