As the mastermind behind Pasta Amore’s visual branding, I was charged with the task of designing a two-sided menu, table tent, trifold brochure, and a website for this exquisite Italian fine-dining restaurant. The brand’s existing color palette was my canvas, which I used to create a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing menu and website that would enhance the brand experience for their customers. Adobe Illustrator and InDesign became my faithful companions, assisting me in designing and crafting each piece with technical precision and advanced graphic design knowledge. Every color, every vector, every resolution was chosen with meticulous care to perfectly represent an upscale, authentic family-owned Italian restaurant. My design principle compass guided me, using a hierarchy to spotlight important information and repetition to reinforce the brand’s identity.
The ideation phase was a whirlwind of exploration and brainstorming, where creativity and originality danced together to meet the client’s needs. It was a journey that involved delving into the minds of the target audience and designing an ad campaign that would strike a chord with them. I painted my thoughts onto a mood board, experimenting with different techniques and elements until the final design emerged. As an ardent believer in the power of constructive criticism, I welcomed feedback from my peers and instructors, refining my design based on their input. One such piece of feedback led to a transformation in my choice of images, adding a dynamic touch to my overall design. Throughout the process, I adhered strictly to the assignment specifications, maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The end result, I believe, is a testament to my technical skills, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.
