Graphic Designer

In my personal quest to intertwine my passion for fashion with my graphic design skills, I embarked on a project that allowed me to flex my creativity: crafting gift boxes and clothing tags for a fictional fashion designer, Kiriko. I thoroughly enjoyed wielding design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to breathe life into visually captivating designs befitting a high-end fashion brand. I incorporated a gold foiling effect on the text, a testament to my adept handling of texturing techniques, which lent a luxurious and sophisticated touch to the designs, dovetailing with the brand image I had in mind.

The design process was a delicate dance with the elements and principles of design, where I introduced alcohol ink paintings to add unique textures and forms to the designs. The color palette—minimalist yet bold with black, white, and gold—effused sophistication, modernity, and luxury. I strategically placed the name “Kiriko” on the packaging and tags to reinforce brand identity. As a self-directed project, I remained faithful to my brief while granting myself the liberty to explore deviations that could enhance the overall design. The final design, with its meticulous imagery, color palette, typography, and high-resolution print-ready format, bears the hallmarks of my attention to detail. The gold foiling effect added a layer of luxury, encapsulating my passion for fashion design and my dexterity as a graphic designer.
